Review

This application is not very useful because converting a Microsoft Word document to HTML can be done from Word itself. The advantage found is that Convert Word to HTML makes a conversion to HTML cleaner, with less trash code and with a better compression. It is a simple intuitive tool, with an easy-to-use interface, comes with a help document, very clear but again, there is not much to it.
Just open the program click on the Add icon and browse for the MS Word files that you wish to convert. Then select an output directory, and press ok. Conversion is done almost instantly, and amazingly it allows you to convert 2007 files (docx).
The application does not give options other than setting up the output directory and adding a password to a converted document. It does support however, command line arguments. Also, users can keep track of the conversions made by creating a run log file.
The trial version limits the HTML conversion to 5 files at a time and requires a registration to unlock, plus the trial lasts only for 10 days.
Advantages
  • Converts Word documents in batch.
  • Users can add a password.
Disadvantages
  • Not compatible with Windows Vista.
